Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Repair itself was $300. Paint was $125 disassembly was $125 since I didn't have the tools to take my bike apart.

And the repair looks great! (I think there's also a guy out in Spring Valley that does excellent carbon fiber repair work).
I didn't see him while searching around. I'm trying out the frame tomorrow at Bike the Bay.

Well, you could come on down to Eugene and do the opposite sort of ride. https://www.bikeforums.net/showthread...d-Century-Plus
No fee, few riders, good climbs, no traffic, remote as all get-out (if you want to stay in touch, get a satellite phone), and no history, at least as far as the ride is concerned.

I don't want pictures, but I do want to know what that was about.

Great pics. Too bad the frame was damaged but at least your friend wasn't seriously hurt and the frame looks like new.
