Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Comparability question

Well kind of weird question I am getting a screaming deal on a dogma frame set but don't really have the money to put the components on it. My question is I have a 99 Paris with a full chorus 10 speed setup could I put that on a new dogma frame set as a stop gap measure.

Nothing wrong with that. My race bike is a 2012 Ridley Excalibur with a mix of 10-speed Chorus and Centaur. I wouldn't even call it a stopgap measure. There's no law that requires 11 speeds.

Why not?

Maybe save up and get a Veloce gruppo for the old bike after.

I could be out to lunch but I think the real Pinarello frames are all braze on, fakes may be clamp on.

I've seen some pretty awesome chinarellos though, if you're into that squiggly fork thing.
