Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I've ridden almost a year with a vibration from my Joule. It irritated me, but I had already returned it once. A creaking BB would drive me nuts.

Saris just replaced the Joule. Apparently there was a batch of vibrating altimeters.

The original Lite cans commercial appeals to me. They should keep them that way.

Cue the beer snobs.

I've got no problem with crappy beer in cans. I just don't like it in bottles because morons throw them out of the windows of their trucks on the side of the road and I end up replacing tires and tubes because of it.

I honestly enjoy the beer-flavored water at times. I'm probably not going to be in the mood for one for another 4 or 5 months, but they have a place.

That's fair. We don't have that issue.

I try to support the can industry. 100% recyclable indefinitely.

Nothing like replacing a tube and booting a tire to get home because some jackass had to toss his Bud Lite Lime bottle in the road. That crap should only be available in cans and plastic bottles.

It's been a very long time since I had a beer, and even then, I refused to drink a light beer, or Old Milwaukee, or anything of that ilk. Course, I was far from a beer snob, as I bought Kenny Bernstein a lot of slicks for his fuel cars.

I attempted a ride today in the 65F temps today. Made it about 2miles before the 50mph crosswind gust put me in a ditch. Then I looked like that pic of the Dutch cyclist trying to remount his bike with the bike blowing around. I turned around and went home.

4 mile run.

The Dre Studio Wireless also gets a good grade. Wireless is awesome.

Stupidly, I tried them on the rollers. That was a dumb idea.

I drank a lot of Busch Light in college. $6.99 or $7.49 a case at EV1. A case was 24. I came to CO and a case became 12.

I've been on a Natty Boh kick. I think it tastes remarkably similar to Stella.. for the about the price of PBR.

yup. I figured that as heavy as I am it would be hard, but not impossible. Should have gotten out my old wheels, but I didn't want to be bothered at that point
