Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

On my Kurt Kinetic Rock and Roll trainer - why is my skewer rotating?

This winter has me riding my indoor trainer a ton - its a Kurt Kinetic Rock and Roll.

One annoyance i have is that the rear skewer will rotate while I'm riding. I think its more or less fine - but i'd prefer it wouldn't.

anyone know why this happens and how i can stop it?

Is it tight against the drop outs and tight in the trainer?

Don't be afraid to crank it down. The trainer is clamping down on the ends of the skewer, not your frame.

I always tighten until I see the outside legs move a bit.

What skewer are you using?
