Silicone grips
I saw a custom build a while back that had thin silicone grips on the top bar and on the drops as two pieces instead of having wrapped bars. Does anyone know if anyone still makes one piece grips for drop style bars anymore?

They are made by ESI. Called "Unwrapped".
I think those are disco'd. They have something called the RCT now. Looks pretty cool. Saw it at Interbike. There is no adhesive on the backside. You can unwrap as much as you like.
I run their mountain grips on my MTB...best grips ever.
