How is the shifting on the new ultegra. Is the lever throw shorter? That's the only thing I didn't like about the old dura ace.

I'm not a fan of the actuation used by SRAM double-tap technology. And I base that opinion not on personal use -- in fact, I've never used it -- but rather on the experience of having ridden in pacelines behind a lot of other cyclists who do use SRAM. I don't know what's going through SRAM-user's heads while they're shifting, but what I see & hear is an awful lot of wasted time & wasted effort. Shifting gears on a bike shouldn't be that hard or take that long.
But I didn't vote for DA9000 because every report I've read of Ultegra 6800 suggests that it is such a perfect sweetspot of cost versus performance that it's the preferred Shimano solution to practically every "What Groupset Should I Choose?" question. I've got 6700 on one of my bikes now, and if 6800 is even the slightest bit better than that it's an amazing gruppo.

My vote would be for RED based on the list, but I love my APEX because it is almost as nice as red but my wife did not kill or leave me for spending too much on my bike.
