Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I agree, but that paint has come and gone. I'm still a little shocked that I broke the frame after so little time with the bike, my third broken frame in two years. It was either this or a Hi-Mod and that's a ton of cash for a frame that I could break just as easily.

It's definitely a head turner and has personality; a shame to do this to such a pretty frame where there are so many uglier Evos out there, covered in logos and marketing with crummy colors.

I know right? So many frames have the company logo on every tube.... There's gotta be some kind of balance. Moving my force group from my black on black CAAD10 to a Cervelo R5 is definitely going to be a aesthetic difference. super stoked.

Blue Evo is hot! Nice work.

Also, can I have a ride in the lambo?

I'm a huge fan of the SST's looks! Even the bowed top. But I like that sexy feature on a lot of rides, like the MEKK Poggio I discovered recently.

I almost got an SST once, but it was too rough for my preferences, (and roads around me). Went with Altamira.

To me, the red highlights look out of place. Green, white, black or silver would have looked better.

Green with that pistachio would look, well, "developmentally challenged." In any event, the wheels were moved over from another bike, so red it was, and it has gotten much love in other forums in less than 24 hrs.

Hot.

And I dig the red. Zombie's need a little blood on them.

Thanks. Yes. Alpha 400s I believe. I had the shop remove their lamentable decals when I originally had them built for my IF.

Mostly Stock CAAD10. Eventually working towards some used carbon wheels...

Thinking the service course logo on the stem needs to be taken off.... or getting the new service course SL stem.

Given that you apparently have more than 1 Lambo, I'm guessing you probably also post in Lambo or exotic car-specific forums.

Question- Harder crowd to please with photos of modified rides, the Italian car folks or BF snobs?

First of all, the photo is pretty terrible. But for me the bike is a NOT as well, sorry. There's simply nothing at all remarkable about it.

Wrong sub-forum for opinions. Go try the hipsters in Singlespeed & Fixed Gear. I ride a fixie too, and I'll say yours wouldn't turn my head to stare.

Groovy drop-outs, but the rest of the detailing looks awful blunt and uninspired. Choice of colors is inspired, though, so hot enough....
