Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Yes, really. It seems to me the reason Brooks saddles aren't more commonplace on high-end road bikes is stylistic as much as their extra weight. While style-wise there is something eccentric about it, it's wise in a way, modest and unassuming, like the understated scheme of the whole thing.

HOT.

Tho for some reason the head tube looks tall for an XS bike. And maybe it's just me, but SRAM's current Red lever shape is skinny and not aesthetically pleasing to my eye. Bike is still red hot tho.

Bikes: Cannondale Supersix Evo HiMod - Sram Red

Just purchased. 2013 Supersix Evo Hi Mod. All Sram Red (aside from the cranks). Perfect condition, $1800. Sub 15lbs.

I love everything about it except the color scheme / standard big bike co. Nascar logo treatment.

The price is hot. Interesting floor, too.

NOT.
Nice bike -and you stole it at that price- but good lord man, put some effort into staging it!
Remove the headphones from the bars.
Ditto for whatever that is under the seatpost binder.
Align the rear tire with the inner tube stem
too much cable at rear der
align front quick release with the fork
A lot of spacers under that stem.
Those wheels don't match the bike. (Specialized wheels on a Cannondale?)

Also, nice floor!

^ hate the stem, but man, the rest of that, mad props. I know you did that all by hand, and you did a great job. Love the reflective shots. Did you put anything over the top of it?

Bikes: A few too many

I'm kind of shocked this thread hasn't died yet but anyway....

I got a set of new wheels for my old bike. The most comfortable bike I've ever ridden. Six year old frame yet to asplode.

Needs one of the new Fizik Aliante saddles, that shape is so portly and outdate now.

No - don't! It's glorious as is. You did it - let the S-works take a back seat.

How did this thread fall behind the old Hot R Not? Did everyone forget this thread is improved!? I can't even view the old thread it's got too many pages and is glitchy.

This is the one that opinions are allowed to be offered. The other one, you're supposed to only say "Hot" or "Not", but that advice is rarely followed.

That Sworks seems from Kripton (in Superman original movie Superman parents wore quite similar reflective clothes). In any case, it is a beauty, definitely hot!

I like that the new shots show how this was done, ie: cutting up strips of retroreflective tape. Definitely hot. Seriously, mad props!

Some of the edges peeled up a little but not bad. I’ve since changed the design and clear coated over it now

I know I'm in the minority here, and I'm glad about that.
But what I really meant to say was, "How easy is it to get that stuff off?"
Since you clear-coated, I'm guessing not very.

It would all peel off very easily without the clear coat
