Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Velo Plugs for HED Belgium 2

Has anyone used the Velo Plugs on the HED Belgium 2 rim? The rim isn't listed on Bikesweets.com compatibility chart. The hole size is 8.5mm, so the yellow ones should fit.

As google says, do you mean "HED Belgium C2?".

I have the yellow ones, and they work well on my HED Belgium C2 rims. Just to make sure the plugs don't fall out when changing a tire, I covered them with electrical tape.

What did you do to protect the valve?

Electrical tape as well. Just apply tape over the hole, then poke the valve through.

If you have small holes in the floor of the rim channel near the seam (like on Kinlins), don't forget to cover those with tape. I have never needed to cover the plugs with tape.
