How do you manage to spread the love?
I've been riding my CAAD10 mainly lately and love it. But the other day, I happened to see the lonely look my Allez Elite was giving me. Took it out for a ride and gosh it was nice. I had forgotten just how good the ride is with that bike. How do you ensure none of you bikes begin to feel neglected?

Your two bikes sound so similar, both 2013's as well? Both my roadies give me lonely looks at time - but they know and understand their very different roles.

I have 5 bikes and rotate through them. I'll usually ride one for a few weeks and then move to the next. Often one or two will drop out of the rotation in need of maintenance.

Sincerely,
That pair of socks in your drawer that you never wear
That first helmet you bought before you cared what helmets looked like
That girl across the hall with all the cats
Those dumbells in the garage

I haven't ridden my Interloc since I bought my Roubaix a few months ago. I thought I saw a few steel tears under the Interloc the last time I came back from a ride.

I have three, two in regular rotation and one I save for special days like Memorial Day or some such. I ride one of the two until it is dirty or has a flat, need the chain cleaned, or needs other maintenance . Then I switch and fix the one I had been riding. Back and forth.

I have 3 bikes, one for groceries, one for city commuting, and one for group rides. They all see a little bit of action, but I give them different jobs so they all get love. My motorcycle does not receive the same amount of love, I lock her in the shed and make her jealous she doesn't have pedals.

My poor MTN. bike and commuter don't get much love as of lately. I look at them hanging on the rack and feel bad at times. But then I remember how I have helped them overcome the adversity of the stuck chain and flat tire, and remember how much they love me and how they understand it just isn't their time to shine.....
But really though....they are bikes....
