You'll need to turn in your yellow jerseys.

Even the ones I bought without even winning a race? That's harsh.

No, only when I don't agree. Tell me, have you seen the numbers? Your opinion about the value of diet and exercise is just based on hearsay. It has no probative value. Why shouldn't I disagree.

Which seems to be always.

Why do you ask?

Nobody wins, when the yellow can be bought.

You are full of yourself, aren't you? Believe it or not, sometimes there are people on the internet with more training and expertise than you have and less need to prove themselves.

My opinion is my experience, and my experience is my opinion. I'm not on the meds anymore, and all I changed was my diet and my activity level.

That is all fine to say, but what, are these folks with superior information being coy? Not coming across with their knowledge just to be cute? I am so tired of all this personal stuff. What does my persona have to do with it? That is just a lot of BS you are spreading. Forget about all that. You got information that disproves my position, let's see it. You don't, then keep out of it. When I am shown to be wrong, I am the first to say it. Easy as pie.

rjones28 08-04-14 09:34 PM

I like pie, but I can't bake a pie. So, for me, pie is not easy.

rjones28 08-04-14 09:34 PM

Just saying.

That is good news indeed. I only wish it were so easy for me. I get insignificant improvement from improved diet and exercise. Medication has been many fold more effective. We are all different.

My neighbor makes excellent pies. She doesn't seem to be an elf.

Just to show everyone how open minded I am, I will agree with you. Some PEOPLE who are not elves can bake pies. I was wrong, You are right. See how wrong you guys were about me? All you need to do is present the facts to me.

There are at least three MDs in this thread (though I'm not one) and you are getting expert information.

That aside, even I know that the link between diet and exercise and managing triglycerides has been well established for decades and, quite frankly, I doubt there's anyone who cares to "prove" it to you.
