They are silly like that. Drugs, my friend. The only way to fly.

You see my results. I will make you a deal. You match those results by dieting and I will pay you $100. And that is without even seeing your current numbers.

I already have. My total triglycerides were off the charts (well over 900mg/dL). As a result, the lab couldn't get good numbers for HDL/LDL. I had borderline high BP, nearly diabetic and overweight. The MD had me on lopid. After a few years of diet and exercise, my weight is excellent, the numbers are great and I'm off the lopid.

You want to send the $100 to my paypal account?

Yes to high cholesterol but crazy well controlled with 40 mg Lipitor, 10 mg Zetia and a buttload of phytosterol dietary supplement by capsule every day. 15 year ago before my coronary, the last time I was unmedicated, the total was 240. Now it is 120 with HDL of 54 and LDL of 56. The Lipitor/Zetia combo really works number wise despite negative press about its a ability to reduce frequency of coronary episodes.

doper

I don't know why anyone would want to take drugs who didn't absolutely have to. I'm sick of them.

Depends on the drug.

So I'm driving back to Colorado on Saturday (well, starting Saturday) and signed up for my first road race in two years, somewhere in Ohio.

Oh jeez.

You must be easily satisfied. Velo Vol has deeper yearnings.

Probably should be more specific. Ohio is a big state.

Orrville. I'll get to ride with a couple (EX?) BF members too.

@patentcad take note.

Really, you can't compare the two. The knee requires more rehab and is way more painful.

One of them must be Solo. And probably Midget Maestro.
