Incorrect. You need to worry about asploding.

Do your own google work. Links to test and videos have been posted on this forum and others countless times. They didn't sway your entrenched position now and I doubt seeing two or three more would do it today.

Also, I wouldn't post private test results. They are not my property to share. There us a ton of material in the public domain. Have at it.

...OK, now your're just making stuff up.

First, the OP is a clear inquiry about a particular frame (LOOK 86) and asking whether there are any problems. We both know that there are.
Second, I asked for a place that would test integrity of frames and components for owners and consumers who are concerned about damage.

Again, we both know that such does not seem to be a common part of the current maintenance and servicing structure for bicycles.

You have come late into a thread, ignored the original subject in favor of one of your own favorite ranting points, and taken off from there.
Read the original post, for ****'s sake, and the title, if you don't believe me.

It's the Luddites vs. the Trolls. Score is tied.

I have friends who are riding on 20 year old Calfee carbon bikes. When we rode together I was convinced carbon would not last, but 20 years sounds pretty good to me!

:roflmao2: Gotta say I've learned more one-liners tonight. Gin helps. Just sayin'.

Please do not attribute quotes to me for things I did not say. Please edit your post to reflect this.

The usual gibberish was posted about certain failure and death and I commented on the carbon hysteria.

I didn't address the OP directly nor his concerns.

There are articles about quicky, at home tests for carbon but the idea of someone setting up an X-ray machine to test used carbon would be interesting. Let me know how it goes...

And lets try: "Ignorance and hysteria are good. Good! Good! good!"

Again, please adjust your post to reflect the fact that I did not say what you have quoted me as saying.

No, but some have predicted it.

No. They're just too busy suggesting that it destructs itself.

Just make sure no one is drafting you. It could be ugly when you asplode.
