Go sell some more carbon to rich Freds, Bob.

For the record, if something apears in one of those bubbles (like the one above) attributing the words contained within to me without actually being my words then yes, I have a problem with it.

If you want to edit that same bubble in a display of your wit and charm please feel free to do so but also indicate that you have done so.

Or you can just use regular quotes within the text of your post saying pretty much anything you like. I also have no particular problem with that (unless it comes from you then, "bite me").

And lastly, you have no idea of what we sell and to whom we sell it. The fact that you think we cater to "rich Freds" is just another display of your willful ignorance.

Oh, and bite me again.

You can't see it but i am shaking my head and laughing at you right now...seriously.

Our website is a small fraction of what we actually do. If my livlihood really depended on it do you think I would engage charmers such as yourself in a public forum?

You are truly a very entertaining person.

The less gay one.

So you are gay but the less gay of the two?

How does that work exactly? And how can a homophobe be gay, too? Does that mean you are choc ful of self loathing because, if I'm right, that would explain a lot.

Frankly, I kind of doubt that you do anything at all without publicizing it as much as you possibly can. I suspect the only reason I can't actually see you right now is that you can't figure out how to keep your cam activated 24/7.

Oh, so now you're trying to get the thread locked.

This is getting too stupid even for me.

You don't? If that's so, I'm done with your web site. We freds have standards, you know.

Incorrect.

Again, no clue.

That ship sailed 7 pages ago.

We've been down to trolling and unrelated entertainment for quite a while now.

Holey crap. The OP just asked how safe is old carbon fiber. Where the F**K did this thread go?

Well, the answer is "Probably fairly safe kinda unless it isn't." That answer was provided pretty much out the gate. And then Halfspeed explained the rest. I'm happy just to get a nifty sig line out of it.

"Probably fairly safe kinda unless it isn't."

I like that. My new favorite phrase.

Bdop and six hours should just race to settle whether crabon is safe or not

Six jours 10-02-14 11:43 PM

"Bdop" has already informed me (several times!) that he is faster than me. We've never actually met or anything, but he seems quite confident. So that's good enough for me.

...do I sense another average speed thread in the making ?

For starters; careful handling when static, close frame and fork inspection, no bunny-hopping etc.

I see a lot of people do this over train tracks. I stand bend all my joints and stay very loose. Just let the bike push me up and down with no resistance

Can we combine it with a tubulars vs. clinchers debate? Especially if we could further debate aluminum vs. carbon in that context, and how the wheel material affects average speed. That would be epic.
