Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Say NO to crack

Guy,

Please stop wearing white shorts/bibs. Your "friends" might not tell you but your gear is see through. I really don't need to see your crack for the next 50 miles. Thank you and please govern yourself accordingly.

And the damper they get, the more transparent they get. Not a pretty sight! Yet, on every organized ride I do, there's at least one person wearing white shorts.

Yes, much better to ride like this trio so there's no question about what's seen:

If you weren't already staring at their butt this probably wouldn't seem like a big deal.

I've seen this situation with gray kits as well. My friend and his girlfriend had matching kits and they were see through. Needless to say, I'm a pig and drafted her for most of the ride. I told them both why I was and they laughed and didn't mind......It was a very pleasant ride for me.

I think I read the rest of the story on a different forum.
