Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Bontrager Serrano RL Saddle Setup

I just bought a Serrano RL saddle to try in place of my Fizik Aliante.

Wondering what people are running in terms of saddle nose angle. I have the Aliante setup flat using a large coffee table sized book on top of the saddle and digital level.

It would be good to know if anyone has tried this saddle and has an angle recommendation.

Thanks

ps. Thinking of switching from the Aliante since I feel that the Aliante (that I have been riding for 3 years now) locks my hip to an angle that causes back pain.

I'm running the serrano and with a flat block on top and a level nosed it down a degree. otherwise with it level my perineum was on fire. when you lean over and slide back on the saddle it fits perfect.
