Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Colnago Artemis wheels

Picked up a set brand new for $25 from someone who just pulled them off a new bike. Can't seem to find any info on them other than a cursory mention in bike reviews. Anyone have these and have any opinions? Figured even if they aren't all that good, for $25 it doesn't really matter. For reference sake, I have mid 90s shimano 105 hubs with sun m13ii rims that are original to my bike.

Bit late and you might even not own these wheels anylonger but...

My CX has Colnago Artemis CW28CL alloy wheels attached. I bought the '06-'07 bike from someone a half year ago. Previous owner told me he bought the wheels 2 years back. Anyway. I am servicing the hubs of these wheels. I noticed one of the hub cones is getting bad. See picture, spindle with left cone attached, like new, right one is bad.

Does anybody have any idea which type of hubs are being used in these wheels? I can't find any part numbers. Mine has Shimano freewheel body attached. Does that make the hub spindle a Shimano one? Are these parts universal? The cone itself measures M10x14 mm. It has a 1mm ring between cone and locknut.

there are a few models on the Artemis line. I have them on my 2015 Colnago CX. What can I say? theyre round and they hold the bike up. Quite weighty but keep in mind theyre clincher, quite wide, and are supporting disc brakes...

Can you tell anything about what kinda hubs are in it? To get replacement parts? I can't find any documentation of the wheels on Colnago's web site.
