what are those black electric tape looking patches i see towards the front of top tubes? i can only think they're used as some kind of grip for the pants when leaning way forward on skids.

i bought a set of mavic cxp-22's laced to formula hubs for $175 from bicyclewheelsguy on ebay. they're not deep section rims, he sells those too, but the price was right and i'm very happy with them.

hmm..not too familiar with the dimensions on the 56. like i mentioned earlier, i have little stand over clearance but the 58 doesn't feel too big when i'm actually riding it.
