yea i don't know man..i'm not real confrontational and this kid certainly wasn't either. he offered no resistance when i just walked up and grabbed it from him. in one of those hindsight is 20/20...

just curious

what are those black electric tape looking patches i see towards the front of top tubes? i can only think they're used as some kind of grip for the pants when leaning way forward on skids.

i bought a set of mavic cxp-22's laced to formula hubs for $175 from bicyclewheelsguy on ebay. they're not deep section rims, he sells those too, but the price was right and i'm very happy with them.

hmm..not too familiar with the dimensions on the 56. like i mentioned earlier, i have little stand over clearance but the 58 doesn't feel too big when i'm actually riding it.

as i understand it, the origin 8 is a re-branded formula hub. exact same from a performance perspective, but it would bug me if i ordered one thing and got another.

chain loosening after using liquid wrench

has anybody noticed or experienced this? i lubed my chain with liquid wrench after noticing it looked a little dry. the ride was immediately much smoother and required less effort to turn the cranks...
