Well, he started this thread so I am assuming it is a big deal for him and that could easily solve his problem. He can always sell his old fork and buy a used one and so end up having this resolved...

P.S. a frame of same size does NOT mean it has the same geometry, which means you could find yourself more comfortable on one ride over the other.

No it is not. My titanium Wittson has a serial number under the bb and the same applies to most ti frames.

As someone already suggested, this one does look like a beadblasted ti frame to me.
