The Forte Titan lists a rim width of 13mm, while the stock ALX-220 lists a width of 19.3mm.

Is this likely just the difference of inside vs. outside wall measurment?

They have the Titans in...

I am looking to replace the front wheel, with Alex ALX 220 rim, that came stock on my 2006 Fuji Roubaix Pro. As you can probably surmise from the fact that I’ve ridden that wheel for seven years, I’m...

I have a 2006 Fuji Roubaix Pro. Bought it in May 2007 for $1150, I think.

Really like it. Was definitely the best feel of the several bikes that I test rode.

I'm still riding on stock wheels...

Thanks for the info guys. I don't really care about looking cool, so it's more of a factor of any increase in performance vs. saving money.

I'll have to weigh that and then decide. I think I'll...

Benefits of road pedals/shoes?

Ok, so I got a pair of mtb pedals and shoes after I had my hybrid for a while. I was nervous about trying clipless pedals for the first time and told that SPD M-520 were a good intro to clipless....

Just rolling. I slow down for a light (or stop and unclip) in a big gear. As I resume pedaling, the chain drops.

I keep dropping my chain

New to road biking.

It usually happens at the end of a steep descent when I'm forced to slow down for a light or traffic. Also happens sometimes when I am restarting in a big gear and cannot clip...

$30 glasses

Can I do better than Tifosi Q2's for $30? I really don't want to spend more than that, and these look pretty good. Any other brands that make comparable/better styles for the same price?

I have ridden a hybrid (Trek 7300) for the last 2 years and I'm ready to make the jump to a real road bike. I'll probably ride the new bike recreationally and possibly for club rides.

I am looking...
