Sorry for the ancient ancient bump, but I came across this today, and I didn't have enough yet to warrant its own thread.

So, it was donated to us, what direction should we take it? Not really seeing a point tracking down the ancient midrange suntour, but don't want to modernize it that much either. It's pretty sexy for a 21 year old bike, have to say.

I missed out on an old looking cinelli mtb. It looked like somebody just slapped some random cinelli stickers on a sad dept. store junker, but thanks to this thread I know Ishould have looked more closely at it

Yeah, like to a CoOp. I have a half a mind to just keep it for myself. What's a ballpark value on it anyway?

From what I can tell, the shifters/levers have been changed, the RD, the FD, and the front wheel and tires are also non stock. Some very weird decisions were made, like the deore XT FD and the Shimano 200gs RD along with the altus a20 rapidfires. :/
