2012 Cinelli Bolt

Thank god for Cinelli not crappying their bikes too!

All sizes available, and ready to ship this week. Or come into the shop Saturday, and build yours right here in San Francisco. The first batch is limited in this delivery, but the bolt frame will be available throughout 2012, along with the Histogram set!

So apparently the Histogram is the "new" 2011 geometry, and this 2012 "Bolt" is the original '09/'10 geo with a new paintjob?

My next bike haha.

Noob question, according to the description:
This frameset marks the return of the original Bolt geometry— preferred by some of our long distance riders and racers for its more comfortable approach
How is this more comfortable when just by eyeballing it, the geometry looks pretty agressive?

Serious question: what is the advantage, if any, of the negative sloping top tube?

They have to get rid of them somehow. Next stop: Bikes Direct!

a negative sloping top tube is good for getting your aerobars low enough or being idiotic about fit. guilty.

I guess so. I stopped counting a while ago.

One step forward...

But yeah, looks rad, would ride...definitely not at MSRP. Or second-hand resale markup.

Yes, it's the 2010 Bolt geo with a third paintjob iteration. If you look at the chart it's not as aggressive as the histogram.

I like this paintjob. Like a MASH Supercorsa. I can dig it; it's not so loud. But hate away.

I like this a lot. Looks better than the Mash. Never liked the color scheme on any of them. But this is nice

See that's the weird thing. This "Bolt" moniker is new, yet they are seemingly applying it retroactively. Marketing department fail. The histogram is the only thing on the Cinelli site, and on that weird Mash Flash-based page for the frame they show the histogram and the '09, yet call the '09 a "Bolt".

I think Mash has been sharing too much of their PBR with the suits at Cinelli.

anyone have a link to the geo chart of this one vs the normal mash? I'm trying to find out how this could be more comfortable, looks almost identical from a quick look

love the paint job though. this and the histogram are some very nicely painted biked, I just don't know if I like the paint enough to live off ramen noodles for a month

Pretty dope, I'd get one but I've been into Pursuit style geometry lately.

This is how I felt. I kinda liked the histogram color, but that weird pixel thing going on always was like 'ehh' for me. The green and the grey/white mash's weren't really my thing either, but this solid grey looks very sharp to me. would hit it.
