Why are OURY grips not acceptable? I have used those since my mountain biking days on all of my bikes. All lock ons, none of this slip on business. Currently have them on my Cinelli bars on my TK2.

I like these pretty good fine. Nice and tacky, last a while. You can get them from Retrog...

I dunno. I like these a lot. Between the comfort and durability it is hard to find something better out there.
I think that this is why people hate how they look. Not proper for this guys set up.

It's the big flange MTB grips on road or townie or mustache bars that kills me. On MX bars? OK.

I have two Crane stem mount bells as pictured in the link, one gold/brass and another silver/alloy.
You can have one no charge because you are a good guy, not mean to people.
PM me your address and your preference. I'll get one to the post office this week.
Just let me know.

hi folks been awhile.
I haven't really thought about bikes much but been poking around and saw that throne is putting out a new complete called phantom and was wondering your thoughts. looks decent but who knows and I've been out of the loop.

Looks about average, carbon fork with aluminum steerer is a nice touch at that price. Saddle looks horrendous. The rest seems about par for a $400ish fixed gear.

that's kind of what I was thinking and the wheelset seems decent.
I don't know if I'll be getting a bike anytime soon just poking around. citygrounds does some sort of monthly payment system through someone now too.

Any recommendations for good portable pumps? Been using CO2's for a bit, and honestly I'm not too keen on them. Probably looking for something that has a hose, pressure gauge, and can get a tire up to 90-100 psi without being a major pain in the ass.

Get one of these and the pressure gauge hose. I still prefer to use a CO2 for speed, but the Lezyne is nice.

As y'all know my bikes got flooded in Harvey - a friend took them and is currently trying to clean them up a bit. They were all standing up on their rear wheels against the wall, with the front wheel in a hook. So the water came up over the seats. All the stuff in the rear is shot. He said he greased the mother out of my rear hub, and it'll last a little while.
Long story short - I need to get a new wheel(s). Right now I'm just looking for a set for my SS Raleigh commuter that I've posted here many times. I've wanted to ditch the deep fixie style rims anyway, so here's the perfect excuse.
So I need some suggestions for decent, INEXPENSIVE regular wheels. Notice I said inexpensive, and not cheap. I'm obviously on a super tight budget since I have to rebuild the entire first floor of the house.
Silver wheels preferred. Single speed.
thanks for suggestions. (I try to look for this stuff myself but there's so many options it just frustrates me)

Sci Guy, I've an extra rear wheel you can have. PM me your address and I'll send it to you.
It's an Alex ACE-19 rim in silver, with silver spokes and a silver generic hub. Fixed on one side and SS on the other. It's in great shape. Not the lightest wheel, but not a boat anchor.
You said you ride SS? If you can use a 16 tooth freewheel cog, I'll put one on it.
