I thought it was just being out there and that it takes a lot of exposure, but I could be wrong. I'm not aware of adapting at all and it's funny: I'm always warm in the morning and freezing in the afternoon.

We went in to Merida this morning, to buy part of the lumber for my new work bench, being built entirely with hand tools. I'm excited to get started. The Mrs. wanted to go to the new Ace Hardware for some paint, and wanted to show me the new store. What a nice addition to the city! An alternative to Home Depot. I was mentioning that to the salesman and he told me it's the first one in the country. What does that say about the near term growth prospects for our beloved city next door?
They have made a point of having at least one English speaker on the floor at all times. A smart ploy.
I bought some new drain hardware for my kitchen sink. And a plastic box to organize my very limited supply of nails, here in the land of stone and concrete.
Today was a good day.
Until we got home and my hip was so stiff that I struggled to get out of the car. For no apparent reason. Inactivity, I guess.

When it gets cold I'm usually fine if there's climbing or if we are working hard. i sweat so much I am soaked after a long climb and the descent can be freezing if I didn't bring extra layers.

I've always worked outside and have had an easier time with changes in the weather than others I have ridden with, both cycling and motorcycling, especially in the heat.

A friend told me I sweat so much they have to mop the street after I ride by so the other cyclists don't slip in it.

Certainly the best I've done so far. Saving grace turned out to the the Wolf Tooth Goat Link, that $20 part saved the $45 dropout.
Operator error. Was climbing and got too close to a rock. Rock pushed the cage in to the spokes and that was that.
Was in a pretty low gear so the torque really borked the RD good. The derailleur body is actually broken.
