Just went to a kick-ass memorial service for my wife's uncle. It was at the Corpus Christi Yacht Club. Open bar started before the service, and everyone was encouraged to have a drink "or two" in hand when it started. Place was packed, the stories were irreverent, and there was both live country western and Mariachi musicians. Was quit fun and touching at the same time.

I was tempted by a couple of Z3/Z4s before the COVID used car price increase, seemed like they were often cheaper than similar vintage Miatas. Word has it that there is soon to be a big jump in repos from people using their stimmy as down payment on cars they couldn't afford. So that might finally deflate the used car market.

A few months ago I went to my old dealer to visit and they had like 40 cars in stock. When I worked there they stocked over 500 cars.

Roll is a bit of a goof, but he has grown on me. I admire ability to translate French online.

Eh, I like them enough. Mostly I want pleasant voices - the Twitchers get all hot and bothered for Sean Kelley, but his voice is like flossing barbed wire through my ears. And Lantern Rouge has the advantage of presenting for a much narrower audience and, I believe, after the fact. Commentating is hard.

I've never heard Bob Roll do live commentary. I liked him on that show he used to have.
