I’ve been thinking of replacing my Trek 7500FX for a while. It cost about $350 10 years ago. The only reason I would like to replace it is to get something lighter and faster. However, I already have a road bike that is lighter and faster that cost around $1,900. So I guess in my mind I would want to keep it in the $1,000ish range. Anything more would seem kind of redundant to the road bike.
