Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

[QUOTE=primov8;14085294]- Sidi Genius 5.5 vernice white[QUOTE]

Nice choice. I love mine now that they are broken in. Best shoes I tried in the price range. I suggest the Louis Garneau Thermo Cool insoles unless you have a preference. Post some pictures of the shoes with the buckles. Interested.

NWS Alpine- thanks for the input; I'll give those LG insoles a try. As for the Sidis, these are my first pair and since my brother, along with a couple others who already have these, I wanted my shoes to look a bit different from everyone else.

Bontrager flare 2 rear light, and Bontrager solstice shorts. The light works great, but the shorts aren't that comfortable. Oh, I also bought some park tool chain cleaner, and some chain lube.

@rdtompki - FYI David Millar (2011 Team Garmin-Cervelo) rode an 11-36t SRAM XX setup in the 2011 Giro d'Italia while other riders rode 11-32 Apex setups including Contador.

I'm not a fan of the gels. That is just me. Plus they weigh like 10x what the tape does.

I have a trusty scale here and I'll post the actual weights when it arrives (usually 3-4 weeks, brutal).

Sram Red 2012 FD. Got it today and installed. Pretty smooth! Time to sell both 2011 Red FD and DA7900 FD.

Also got new shoes yesterday. S-Works MTB... Tried SPD-SL but just can't like it..
