Just got back from the Nurse's office at my boy's school. A day before winter vacation and this kid's trying to cut off his finger with some dodgy scissors. Our urgent care isn't open for another hour, but I'm thinking that they'll disinfect, glue it up and send us on our way.
That's what awesome shovel owners do.

After my ride utilizing the awesome Marigold jacket, I took a large chunk out of my finger locking a gate with a padlock. It was painful and bloody but not once did I think about starting a thread in general to ask for advice. I didn't go to urgent care. I HTFU and wrapped it up in a Jimmy John's napkin.

I believe the new name is just Dunkin'. They want to get away from being branded as donuts. Kinda like KFC replaced Kentucky Fried Chicken. It's still fried, but they want to seem healthier.

Fear not!
Peroxide applied twice. Wounded digit on the road to recovery.
in other news, I am off today. mid-afternoon ride is planned as I inch ever closer to 4,000 miles. My goal was 3,800 but the number of rain outs were lower than expected. In addition, the awesome Marigold jacket enabled me to ride in frigid weather we have down here. Also the headlight and rear blinky helped greatly.
Not big miles for most but, I am pleased. In 4-6 years when I retire that number could double as I can ride in the morning and do longer rides by avoiding the heat.

Full of himself BF member corrects my grammar (I used an incorrect homophone) then makes a grammatical mistake himself a few posts later in the same thread. It's the little things in life that make BF so satisfying.
