IKR. On a group ride out there, there was some route discussion wherein a couple of folks expressed the desire to take x route to avoid y hill. Knowing the hills that they where talking about, even I, as a self-identified flatlander, had to chuckle.
That said, there are enough curves, undulations and changes of scenery to make it a nice area to ride. If only more of their roads had actual shoulders...

i had 600 on a Bianchi SLX I bought in, I think, '91. Got hit by a car a couple of year later and replaced the bike with a Guerciotti. I think they had started using the Ultegra name, but I am not certain.

You know, I was never enthusiastic about my Ultegra 6700 (maybe because it was always chewing up RD shift cables), but the R8000 I now have is really good IMO. So I CAN feel it.

Yeah, the 6800 levers work well but eat cables at only a slightly lower rate, so I know what you mean. Maybe you're feeling that 11th cogwheel too.

Mrs. rjones28 just made a batch of pizza dough. It made enough for about a dozen 14" inch-ish pies, so they got frozen for future use. She plans to use her 15" carbon steel paella pan. Most of the summer pizza baking will take place on the grill.

Hey MoAlpha I have a work question.
I know that anticholinergics have been implicated in possibly contributing to dementia, it's plausible and the mechanism makes sense.
I have always hated most drugs with strong anticholinergic effects like the overactive "gotta go right now" bladder drugs and tricyclic antidepressants.
But today, a patient who is a retired ENT and on long-term paxil (paroxetine) said he wants to consider getting off this because of his concerns of it contributing to dementia (which he does NOT have). I did not really consider it to be a potent anticholinergic, care to opine??
