Also, as we knew, so much for the thought that it would go away in warm weather.

buffalo is HAF. Only reason I bid this trip was to go north and get away from the heat. I found a bike shop to rent a bike. It would be a 54 diverge. 50 dollars for 3 hours, and I didn’t bring my helmet so throw in another 10 for that.
I offered 25 for 2 hours, they didn’t bite.

And, yeah, it's freaking hot lately.

I'm surprised that MN isn't on there, with all of the protests. Then again, maybe that's just a matter of testing and demographics that are historically under-served.

Could be. I had a response typed out . . . good thing I re-read it just before hitting submit.

Hard to tell whether the protest bump wasn't offset by some other factor there and elsewhere. Then there's also the fact that the protests occurred outdoors.

Finally got back home last night.
Haven't been on a family vacation in a long time, that was fun but exhausting.

Yeah. I keep telling myself that outdoor transmission, though possible, is much less likely. That's true, right? RIGHT???

Restaurants in Mpls are open, but indoor capacity is limited to 50% with spacing requirements and masks need to be worn indoors when not at your table. A lot of restaurants have, predictably, also moved as many tables outside as possible (where there are still spacing requirements).

Mask wearing is mandatory in most cities and towns, but there are no penalties for not wearing one.
My employer allows me to refuse service to anyone not wearing a mask. They are told that mask wearing is required as they enter the store. If they approach me for help, without a mask, I tell them that I'll find someone else to help them.

Tell them it's for science . . . oh wait, that won't work, we're talking Arizona here.

Ha! I love the idea of pepper spraying anyone who approaches without a mask. Doesn't even have to be that noxious; just a can of Pam or Boeshield.

I really enjoy refusing to help the Red Hats, especially when they get irate and start swearing at me..
