We had a storm on Monday and I did see some corn damage on my ride this morning from the high winds.

Wow, cool. Some Marin bikes are from Vietnam, and that was before the new China tariffs.

I think the best bet is to cut the thread, and not pull it. Unfortunately you never know until it happens.

I use a lot. Non-petrolatum based lip balm doesn't exist here. Petrolatum based lip balm does more harm than good. So I buy beeswax, cocoa butter and coconut oil and make my own.

I'm walking on ground strewn with rocks and ankle-twisting holes. Correction: Attempting to walk. Thus the weed eater, instead of a mower.

Spent two weeks riding in the state while crossing the country. You took your life in your hands getting out of your tent to pee at night. There were even mosquitoes inside the HI Hostel at Lake Itasca. While certain parts on Montana were bad, Minnesota was the worst overall.

This ain't no upstate meadow. This is more rock on the surface than soil. By a wide margin.

So, my latest bike part fantasy is getting a Stages/Shimano power meter 8000 crankset and putting the 6800 crank on the Lynskey, which is easy because it's got a threaded BB. However, I'm doubtful there's frame clearance for the strain gauge on the left-side crank arm. Going starboard-only seems like an expensive way to get one-leg power.

I was going to say that I could go all Le Cruset Mogul and post a bunch of sideways pics of my cookware, but I don't have boxes of unused pieces waiting in the wings so not quite the same.
