Had a good ride last night with the guys. Lots of suffering in 30 miles when done correctly.
So I have placed some blue painters tape inside the chainstays on Contador. This way if the wheel rubs it will mark the tape and then I will know if it still rubs.
I recently repacked the disk bikes B.B. But Still get the click click click, that I love so much. So yesterday, I removed the thread together Token bb and replaced it with a, of all things, Sram pf 30 Dub B.B. Eddie Mercx (sp) help me. I really don't like this Dub system of all proprietary spacers and parts. It's just to cutsey.. the spacers lock into little grooves on the bearing covers. Much too delicate looking. But time and mileage will tell. It's resting comfortably, maybe tonight..

I remember watching a video a few months ago from NorCal Racing (or whatever) and he talked about looking at the gap between average power and NP to get a good idea of how smoothly you're riding (smaller gap = smoother). Even on longer rides, I'm ******g horrible by that metric.

On long endurance rides, you're doing it right if average and nominal is within a couple watts. Same-same is ideal. That means there was no slacking, and the pedals were always turning.

Thought I'd give them a whirl. That blowout wouldn't have occurred had It had some sidewall protection. Some people love them. The other tire I could afford was ultrasport 3 and they have zero protection.

No, these are tubeless, the Power Road TLRs. I've taken one big puncture, that needed a bacon strip plug, about 2.5k miles ago. Other than that, I haven't been slowed by a puncture.

Rain has been trashing most of my mornings the past three weeks and with my daughters in summer track and travel softball, I can't get out at night anymore. It's really hurt my mileage (but I'd never get to 250 regardless).
