Take a look at my Tuesday, Thursday night routine powerwise on my trainer. I dont use the HR anymore since it keeps falling off my chest.
PS. You can see a pee break at minute 45+/-

Are you training with power? While you can definitely work out with HR, power takes it to a WHOLE different level, specially on the trainer.

I almost did but I couldn't! You can definitely tell that was a desperate attempt to finish the interval . I could do short, high intensity intervals all day.. but those freaking 15-20 minute threshold intervals are effin killers!

I'm not yet, waiting for the speed/cad sensor to arrive for that. I can't afford a power tap wheel so my power training will be limited to trainer time over winter using the TR power curves of the trainer. maybe some day I will, but frankly I want a new bike this year first, WAY ahead of a tap on the list of thing I want/need.

here in the chicago area our "season" is fairly short, without trainers every spring would be like starting over, I'm not letting that happen this year. when the weather breaks I wanna be ready cuz my commute distance in the morns will likely be increasing from ~9mi up to about 15ish or so. I wanna be ready for that

Have done about 14hrs in the new sidi shoes now
Bought these shoes due to having a bike fit done where i had new innersoles and wedges put in making my old shoe to small. Went from a 42 in shimano r315 to a 43 in the sidi
The shoe in length was about the same as shimano but the 43 gave me the extra room in the toe box i was looking for.
The heel retention system though good is not as good as the Shimano r315
The tongue in the shimano is more comfortable
The boa system gives a better overall fit and spreads the pressure on the foot better and gives a better incremental adjustment.
Overall the stiffness of the sole is excellent.
A very nice shoe.

For 2014, I'm sticking with my current bikes but I plan on building up Ti frameset this year. I've been in touch with Binny from Falco Bikes, particularly their Eleonora frameset. I specifically wanted an EPS compatible frameset only, no cable guides on the frameset and he said it wouldn't be a problem with a 2-3 week turn around.

I have the newest aero stickers guaranteed to reduce drag and increase speed...
Just wondering what to do...either I replace the white ones on my 202s...or put them on my no-name chinese carbon wheels...
