It's actually a 34.8. And Klein made the tubing so thin that the standard clamp will crush the tubing as the pressure isn't as diffuse as a band. (I've got another Quantum II with a crushed seattube to prove it)
Any suggestions?

I've got this stuff if anyone needs it.
Crankset, good condition, I've got the BB that came in the bike but lost some of the loose ball bearings.

Suntour DT shifters, everything is there, I took them off the frame and bagged each piece.

A set of pedals. Say made in Germany

The only thing I'm actually needing is an Italian bottom bracket. I have a "low miles" 6700 bottom bracket that I'd trade (seller's claim, it came with my 6700 group). It does have some wrench marks but they are slight/hardly noticeable.

I'd also trade for a set of Crank Brothers pedals. Any model would be fine, thinking about using my MTB shoe when riding the Simoncini and they have Crank Brothers cleats. Also have some SPD pedals. Look new, I don't remember where they come from but I didn't see a name on the so I assume they are generic. New or like new
I don't need any of this stuff, if someone does and doesn't have anything to trade on just let me know, we'll work something out. I'd rather they be used then sit on the self here in the way.

Well, you're a possibility. I'd prefer a 110 if someone offers one up. Mine should be a 26.0, and that what I need. I should double-check, though.
EDIT: yours isn't black, nor 26.0, so it won't fit for me. Free game for anyone else. Thanks.

What did Klein use as standard? I'd be tempted to use a 34.9 clamp on FD, maybe with some old inner tube under the clamp, and tighten very gently. Have a 34.9 Sora you are welcome to. Could be your other Klein was subjected to an attempted 31.8 clamp install...

No idea what goes on with these Kleins. Proprietary press fit bottom bracket, weird front derailleur mounts. I had an 81 Klein Performace that had a hole in the seat tube where you lowered a specific nut shaped to the diameter of the tube on the inside then inserted the bolt through the hole to mount the front derailleur. The non dented Klein of mine had a Campagnolo Chorus adjustable band derailleur on it. I'm guessing they tried to mount that to the other one I bought from the same guy. Problem is the clamp only extends to 33mm diameter.

I believe I have one or two. I don't pay them much attention most of the time so I can't swear to it yet.

I am an idiot. First I need French thread. And I thought I had stated I wanted standard 6-speed. But I know now I did not. Something narrower band than 13 or 14-26. Sorry for the confusion.
Apologies to @mountaindave and @jimmuller who PM'd.

I have a bag of parts pulled from an early 60s Raleigh road bike. I thinks the mechs are Huret, but need to check. Do you know what model you're looking for?

I just saw your other thread, and I don't think I have what you're looking for. The Huret parts I have are definitely low end.
I see! Thatīs too bad!

ISO French headset for my Peugeot PH11 from 1984. The one on there is indexed to hell. Not wanting to invest much, but let me know what you have.
