Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Flight home rerouted through IAD. We can rent a car and drive from there if we miss the connection.

Holy cow! I'm surprised and relieved the crew only received minor injuries. The rail being pushed up in a wave out in front of the concrete beam is pretty impressive.

Really surprising the crew only sustained minor injuries considering the final outcome for the equipment.

it’s a bummer they don’t have O-ring chains for bicycles similar to motorcycle chains

install an O-ring chain on a motorcycle and you are basically done ... can forget about lubrication - although you can spray or drip something on the chain if you desire (and recommended) ...

We did some comparisons on eggs, meat, etc. of BJ’s and Aldi and do most of our shopping at BJ’s now. Per unit cost is less on almost everything.

we freeze a lot meat to make it worthwhile
