Yeah, they do a big sale in September and it's not just one-and-done, they trickle in more stuff as time goes by. Then this year, they did another one starting a week or two ago.

There were a few V10 frames for $1800 with DHX shocks. I have absolutely no use for such a bike in Kansas, but that price kind of blew my mind, considering the msrp is like $3300.

^ Wow. Do you think this could put up with small drops(3-4')? And I can still throw my 9sp chain-rings on it just fine, right?

EDIT: Got my cranks today! They're a hell of a deal for $40. If you need a crank-set for under ~$100 then hurry up and buy these! I don't think you'll find anything better for less than that unless you find another really good deal.

Thanks Ed!

Jenson has their 12 Days of Christmas going on right now.

Troy Lee D3s $229 (you KNOW how expensive those things are usually).

Diamondback Session Cruiser-class (24") BMX $139 complete - - if there's winter BMX around you (indoor or outdoor), here's your chance to try your hand.

Holy cow.

Speaking of daily xmas deals, today Competitive Cyclist has Kask and POC helmets (one of each, actually) significantly discounted. My dad got a POC for $80, msrp $140. He has wanted one a while but $140 is a bit much for an open-faced helmet.

If you call competitive you can usually get free shipping and no tax on your orders. I got crazy hooked up the other day because I was trying to buy one of their competes but most of the components for it were out of stock.

The SLX crank-set will not work with an octalink BB, if that's what you're asking.

Almost wish I needed a drivetrain.
Because of this thread, I've bought almost an entirely new drivetrain for my new full suspension Heckler The prices Jenson has are out of this world. Just need a wheelset and a fork...

Talk about getting hosed...Make sure you know your frame is tapered or 1 1/8 before ordering a shock@! I just gave USPS about $20 in shipping/return shipping ...ouch

Keep posting...

If anyone noticed, on Thanksgiving Amazon had the DB Sortie 29'er for $1550... price is back up to $2300 now. Some reviews mentioned the rear end had a lot of movement, so i skipped, but man..the fork alone on that bike has to be over $700...

no it doesn't come with the BB. it lists the weight of the crank including the bottom bracket but it clearly shows in teh description that there is no BB included. thankfully!

I also feel a little better because the guy that sold me the crank also had an extra set of new chain rings that he sold me for $20. AFter taking my maiden voyage today my learning curve is probably gonna necessitate changing those bad boys out!!!!

The caveat on the following is that it's for BB30 only. But, dang, if you have it and want to treat yourself to XO, here's your chance:
