Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I'm sure Fargo has some nice qualities, possibly a nice place to explore for a few weeks during the summer. But this is wrong:

Maybe you get used to 20F days, but I'm never going to get used to even 40F days, in the sense that they feel normal. They're anything but pleasant. Winter is survived/tolerated, not enjoyed.

Memphis is in another grand division, nearly 400 miles from here. Different time zone, culture, completely different geography.

Looked exactly like this. I do have some good pictures of the actual car, but they aren't digital and I don't feel like scanning them.

That was my first car - my sister’s hand me down. A gold LS 2 door. What a great car that was. I ended up selling it to a friend who took it to almost 300K miles before his wife made him get rid of it before they had kids. He must have had that for 10 years.

The early Integras were fun cars.

I had a ‘93 Vigor that I really liked. Not as tossable as an Integra, but it would eat up highway miles quickly. At that time, I was driving to Houston about monthly, so that was good.

Reading the comments on that one suggests it was in rough shape. Curious how it turned out. I’ve heard BAT does some shady stuff as cars get close to the sales window closing. I have no personal experience with them though.

wasn't not = was

I was just responding because it sounded like you mean only the old Tegs were fun.

Problem is I'm definitely not paying going rate for one, even without the theft issues. And with no real need for it. I want the house.

Nearly bought another Acura in 2006. RSX. But, decided to save my pennies and got a second-hand Saab. The car's main use was traveling between Delaware and Syracuse, since we had two abodes at the time. Doesn't rate a top spot, but I liked it.

Bonus Benson content. Her first snow. 4 months old.

New Peugeots are quite common here. There are indeed dealerships.

It'd be one thing if there was actual bathroom facilities down the hall. According to that video, you only get 1/4 of a toilet. Who wants to live like that? No showering.

Nope, meant the old Integras were fun. I did not comment on the newer ones.

I have never owned a blue car. I had a blue 86.5 Nissan king cab pickup though. But no 4WD and needed it. The next truck was an 88 of same, brown, 4WD. It got left behind in Belize.
