Assumptions Make An A...
I routinely wear a billed cap of one kind or another under my helmet. I have to adjust it to fit properly, and readjust it when I wear it sans billed cap.
I thought you might have some supporting evidence which might inform me to alter my practice, but alas it appears you have only assertion, prejudice, anecdote, pride, and a haughty spirit?
Unfortunate.
Bikes are okay, I guess.

Flipper's backdrop can now be yours! One of our most prolific CL posters is selling the '57 Chev he leans his bike against for pix. This is the guy who persists in spelling F-U-G-I in his ads despite the obvious frame decals

Good Morning all.
I'm not Bill Nye nor that I have absolute scientific proof but I found this on the web:
Can you wear a visor or hat with your Bicycle Helmet?
Straight Answer. It's not a safe idea to wear a baseball cap, visor or anything else for that matter under your bicycle helmet. The Bicycle Helmet Safety Institute, a non-profit organization for bicycle helmet safety information, warns that hats and visors compromise the helmet's fit and safety.Jul. 8, 2011
I don't care if or how you use a helmet. It's none of my business I was only trying to educate my sister on safe riding and wanted my sister to look at that helmet brim
.
As to your comments, it seems to be the trend to today to ignore experience of older people (I used to work in a pro shop) and received the same advice decades later when I bought a helmet to make highly emotional and abusive comments.
Please stop trolling and move one.
Thanks and be safe.

Also, I've seen other bicycle riders wearing a baseball cap under a helmet and they have the helmet tilted up quite a bit. That defeats the purpose of t he helmet as t he helmet is not offering much if any protection.
Plus, most times the helmet straps are not as snug as t hey should be to secure the helmet.
Cheers

How do you take the harshness out of a fat-tubed aluminum frame? Foam grips the size of beer cans.

I always wondered if shorty fenders were meant to comply with local regulations somewhere. They certainly serve no useful purpose.

Cheap 3-speed is worth it for the parts, but the definition of a dynamo is priceless and the punctuation alone is worth the price of admission: "Dynamo System For lights (dynamo lights are what bird back in the day had to power the lights. ( Its basically a miniature alternator (an electric motor (a magnet inside of a coil(uses magnetic field to generate electricity))) that uses the movement of the wheels to supply the head/tail lights, or any other elec accessories)))).
Also, the "one tire tube would have it on the road" might be true but no functioning brakes would certainly make for an interesting ride.
And the seller sounds like an ass.
