Just looking for an old thread of mine- saw this orphan hanging out there. Figured I'd update it.
The choices really came down to the 1UP and the Saris Freedom II EX. I ended up getting the Saris- the primary decision was that the Saris is made in Wisconsin. It was shortly after I got the Saris that I found out that 1UP is made in Wisconsin as well... I don't know if that would have made a difference in the decision. I like it. I like that it leans out to open the hatch. What I don't like about it is that it doesn't fold up very close to the car- it does fold, but you don't save much of any space.
