Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Uh, Gary sorry, but you didn't read well. He said "all carbon BUT frame" which apparently is smokin' hot!

EDIT: Sorry, too many beat me to that one... but for me I'd vote "Not" on his as well.

Will someone please post a hot bike on here? Right now, a Schwinn would qualify...

That was the pic from the CL ad when I bought it. I didn't even bring that saddle home with me.

Thanks. I'm debating a set of miche hubs laced to box section rims. I go back and forth on the tires.

The lugs on that bike are amazing. And the metal pie plate...they don't make 'em like that anymore. Very hot!

It has potential, but given the context of this thread, I'm going with "not".

There is nothing quite like a bike that really works for you and is a pleasure to ride. I vote not hot (and no way the seatpost pictured is carbon), but no more 'insults' from me. Hopefully you'll cease throwing them around as well. Many safe miles to you and may the winds always be at your back.

In the pic's, a carbon post is on the Sirrus. The Allez has an alloy suspension seatpost that was likely original to the Sirrus (same as on my wife's Sequioa). Maybe you switched them back or picked up a second carbon Pave since the pic?

Yay - a hot bike! In light of recent transgressors, I'll even forgive the lack of valve stem alignment and the granny ratio.

Now that something you don't see everyday. Aero hoops on a Trocross. Not sure it's hot but I like it for some absurd reason.
