Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? This would make a great project if done tastefully.

1992 Raleigh USA TEAM Reynolds 753 - $175 (SE Gresham)

I rescued this at a garage sale last week thinking i would use it for commuting. It's just not the right fit for what i planned to use it for. If you know your road bikes then you know how extremely light these frames are. I am 5'9" and i can ride this with ease. It has been spray painted on the top tube and some overspray on the seat post. The decals and paint show sun fading but some of the decals are still decent. I would paint the top tube white and ride it like it is. The wheels are Araya and are almost true with a rear freewheel. Campy 53 tooth chainring and crankset. Sakae bars with Dia Compe brake. I may be interested in a trade for something cyclecross and for upright riding. I would keep it if i had the room for another bike, but i really need something a bit more suitable for my commuting needs.
Quite Interesting...

gold velocity b43 wheelset - $200 (san diego)

Reply to: sale-raafq-2524064222@craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?]
selling my wheelset. the front wheel is laced radial, and the back is the standard three cross. B43's are laced to soma formula hubs that spin smooth. the hubs are fixed/free. these rims are only about 3 months old. they are true, and have never been tricked on. if you're interested, give me a call/text at 858-353-5590. or you can email me as well, but i may take a little longer that way. thanks -Marcos

ignore: track fix
Clearly stripped lockring threads in the first picture; yet the seller does not state it...

Vitus Plus Carbone 1984, 57cm, Practically NOS! - $375 (ne pdx)

This is a gorgeous, gorgeous road bike frame from 1984 and it's in pristine condition! It is sized for riders approximately 5'9" to 6'3" and is obscenely light weight. I DO have the Campagnolo 25.0 seat post that goes with the frame. Pics to come once I'm done polishing it!

The carbon fiber main tubing, which was made by Vitus, has a small, elegant diameter like high quality steel frames (not that bulky, oversized carbon/aluminum trash you see out there nowadays)! The carbon has a cool, semi-textured anodized finish and is bonded to aluminum lugs that have been polished to a mirror shine. This truly is a beautiful bike! The pictures don't do it justice, you have to see it with your own eyes.

I am also able to build this bike up to your specifications. If you're interested let's talk!
Who wants to take a gamble on a carbon frame that's over 25 years old!?
