Back on topic:
2x25' on Fiesta Island this morning, then commute to work. Will ride home tonight for another 30-45 depending on my pace.
I rode them right at the border between my z3 and z4 power. That's called sweet spot, right???

Training status:
Rode a circuit that I rode when training. Back then:
2 hours if base.
1:50 if Zone 2.
1:40 if Sweet Spot.
1:35 if killing it.
But today 2:15 having a totally chill ride on a beautiful day about 80 F.
I am now really slow and I don't care.

Was gonna do 2.5 hours of z2 this morning, woke up at 6, but it was 37f outside so I said F it. Rode after work instead.
1 hour on the rollers @ z2 -only 2 mins outside of that zone total! Steady AF.
Then 45 mins at the gym right after that.

1.75 hr MTB commute this morning, about 75/25 trail/road. Great ride. Cold down there in the canyon bottoms by the creeks - lots of frost. My legs felt stiff and uncooperative at first and I thought of cutting it short, but I loosened and warmed up eventually.

Tomorrow on my lunch break I'm going to drive out to an empty road and do something for under 30 minutes and get a rough guess of where I'm at. vo2 and SS seem too easy last few days....
I just don't want to call it a 'test' and then be told I'm using the wrong protocol to find my FTP. What the cool kids push seems to change every week.
If there's one under a minute now let me know so I can save some time!
