We understand that people think every bike should have a slammed stem, which is beyond hysterical considering this is not the HOT OR NOT thread. No said, what are you talking about. I think it;s more of a "What makes somebody else decide spacers are bad." Asshats on here telling people to slam their stem on touring bikes and commuter bikes just because it is aesthetically pleasing. Clearly these same people that claim to know what is BEST for EVERYONE has never ridden a lonely path, a couple week tour or even understand Why they make different stems and steerer length in the first place. The gross generalities on BF in regards to stem placement is simply pathetic. People see 3 big races on TV and think every normal bike should be setup the same as the pros. Lol. On the other hand, I am not saying there is anything wrong with a slammed stem, but you don't hear me saying, "Raise that stem you clearly don't know how to fit on your bike" as all the people do with the opposite. All I can say is "Mind Your Neck". Telling people how to setup their bike despite never seeing the person next to the bike is a damn joke. There is a reason I used to laugh at all the roadies or wanna be roadies who would come in with this slammed setup (But not have anything else properly adjusted) and then asking about comfort and fit. They said, "This is what people on the internet told them to do." And I would say, 75 dollars to correct what the strangers you listened to told you to do. Have even seen multiple occasions of people having to replace the fork because they thought slamming the stem was the way to go, til they realized it was too late. The name of the thread is "Show me YOUR black bike" not "Show me how others told you to setup your black bike."

An observation... I remember there was a time when a road bike with racing geometry, had a corncob and was used for.... racing. Performance was paramount at the expense of comfort. Nowadays, it compacts and pie-plates as anything goes now. I can understand some who may be uninformed, making comments about stem height seeing how these bikes are set up for comfort.

I'm not long off from being able to contribute to this thread. I'll be ordering an S-works SL4 Tarmac in all black. Will be built with Record 11, hollow gram cranks, EE Brakes, and Zipp 606 firecrest. Can't wait to have it in hand, frame probably won't arrive till the end of April though, everything but the record parts in hand.

Rode it to work today after a weekend build (Microshift/Tiagra 4600/FSA) and 50 mph winds yesterday kept me in the car for the commute. 17 miles this morning and she rides like a dream, except needs a new seatpost.
I do have white brake housing, wondering if I really need it though since most of the housing is under the tape (I also have some white tape). Thoughts?

$550 out the garage door.

Those last 2 bikes are NICE! The saddle on that Caad throws me off a bit but, the rest of the bike is fantastic. (normally don't like those rolf vgor style wheels)
And I've always like Bianchi's and have never owned one.

On the left is my 2011 Specialized Roubaix Expert. On the right is my Pedal Force CX2 cross frame that I made into a rain bike. It has a disc brake on the front.
Roubaix:
Pedal Force:
The Pedal Force CX2 is a great frame, nice and stiff and fairly light. Almost as good as the Roubaix, almost.
