Raleigh SuperCourse - $600 (Weymouth)
Date: 2009-08-14, 11:23AM EDT
Reply to: sale-nt6yh-1322832423@craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?]
THIS IS NOT A RESTORE!!!!! IT IS IN THE ORIGINAL AS NEW CONDITION WHEN BOUGHT IN 1985!!!!
I have a 1985 Raleigh Supercourse that is in unbeilievable new condition (30 miles maybe), It should not even be ridden it is so nice. It should be shown in a bike museum. I do not even know how a bike stays in this condition as it should have been covered with dust, but looks like it was built up today. I did however polish the frame and fork true the wheels and adjusted everything on the bike.
SIZE IS 57CM OR 22" C-T SEAT TUBE WITH 32" STANDOVER HEIGHT APPROX 5' 7" TO 6' 1"
here is a link to the 1985 catalog https://www.sheldonbrown.com/retroral...5/pages/1.html
serial # is 5f0000089 No bike store stickers are on the bike so I think it may have been given to someone special to the company or on display. being the 89th bike made in febuary of 85'. It also has 20c tires not 25c as spec from raleigh in 85'.. they also look brand new like I just put them on today.
I am sking $600....... (However if it does not sell, I have no problem keeping this beauty in my collection..... please!!!!!! only the serious need to reply. )....Call Bill till 10 p.m ...xxx
LEAVE A CONTACT # IN ALL EMAIL REPLIES SO I KNOW YOU ARE NOT A SCAMMER. (SORRY IF I DO NOT RESPOND YOU WILL KNOW WHY)

Trek 660 Roadbike - 12 speed - $150 (Neenah)
Date: 2009-08-15, 10:20AM CDT
Reply to: sale-uuujr-1324505484@craigslist.org
Trek 660 12 speed Roadbike. Mid 80's vintage. In very good condition with good paint and good tires. Easy entry into a quality roadbike for not a lot of money.
Trek 660 frame set made with Reynolds 531 tubes, Trek proprietary lugs and Trek drops. This is toward the end of lugged steel frame production at Trek and so the frame is somewhat special. It has nice lug work and traditional geometry with semi horizontal drops so you could build a fixed gear bike.
$150 OBO
* Location: Neenah
Looks to be pretty much original, including the Ofmega "Mistral" crank and Ofmega derailleurs, Modolo "Speedy" brakes, Stronglight A9 headset, etc. IIRC the original saddle was an Avocet "Racing" model; maybe it's still there under that hideous pad.

Masi Nuovo Strada, Handmade in Italy, Horizontal Dropouts (Amesbury, MA)
Date: 2009-08-15, 7:58AM EDT
Reply to: sale-6efhh-1324309436@craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?]
Late '80s Masi Nuovo Strada frame with Columbus SLX-SP. 49 c-t-c seat tube, 52 c-t-c top tube. Cinelli bottom bracket, Masi chrome fork, Columbus chrome dropouts, chrome chainstay, lugged, engraved and detailed throughout frame and fork. 126mm spacing. Condition is excellent. Original decals and paint, no rust. Excellent alignment - never crashed. This one is a bit small for me - I usually fit a 50-52cm frame. Horizontal dropouts. This is an SLX-SP model handmake in Italy, not the later iteration of this model which was made with lesser tubesets in the US.
Will ship, if desired.
If interested please phone 978-985-0578 to discuss. I will sell these outright if you prefer.

The guy with that ad edited it and said he sold it for more than asking price. Yeah, but he probably doesn't know how much he could have really gotten for it.
