Doing the readings for the first week of my "Biology of Aging" course and they're making me smile with all the explanations of how the "over 50s" can still be creative, productive, physically active, etc and don't need to be put out to pasture just yet. And one of the things I have to read is from the WHO so it's talking about Europe where I would expect them to be much less bound by the "use them up and throw them out" thinking which is still so common in much of the U.S.
Then it all fell apart and I was left with a bum back, a bad knee, and a general sense of

I bit of a facepalm but yesterday I went too long between Enbrel treatments. If you wait until you start feeling the drug wearing off, it's too late. Pretty remarkable how you can go from feeling OK to garbage in six or so hours.
