that’s weird. Mice usually have pretty high heart rates. Maybe you are dying? You prolly need more infusions. call the witch doctor.

It really is reminding me a lot of 1982, when I moved out here (technically I arrived on 28December 1981). It seemed like a storm every other day.
Then I traded it in.

That seemed very worrisome to me. I told the witch doctor about it and she acted like it was no big deal.

Yep. All damn day. We were SUPPOSED to get two dry days, or so they thought on Saturday. By Monday, they said, "Yeah, no. It's gonna rain", and sure enough, it has. Yesterday was dry-ish.

My friends who live there say there had been flaggers stationed when the beams were crossing the tracks (the truck needed to make a left turn almost immediately after crossing the RR). They speculated that driver had started across the tracks before receiving a go-ahead signal, and cars blocked him from completing the turn.

The weather lady on tv just said days of rain again. Might be dry for 10 months after that, though.

Other news, my new QC45s tanked out today - in the middle of the conference call it started sounding different and my voice went very weird, like an echo, which I think was broken noise cancellation. The left ear cup emits a constant hiss, even after a factory reset. Fortunately, they're doing a swap with no questions - approved before they could have read the ticket. So at least I have the old ones as backup.
Probably going to go with the Sonys next time regardless.

I went to a business this afternoon. I was standing in the parking lot. At the edge of the parking lot I saw a large mass of pigeons lift off and fly across the street. "Man, that's a lot of pigeons."
I couple minutes later, and they were all back.
I got to looking closer, and saw lines of bird seed on the pavement.
An employee was standing nearby, and saw me looking at them. If he can be believed, the owner spends $600/month feeding the birds.

Feeling very conflicted right now, bike-wise.
My latest build with my Super Le Tour has turned in to one of my favorite bikes ever. With the front bag it's perfect for commuting to work and even making a quick stop at a grocery store. Only problem is that every time I lock it to a rack I die a little inside - the frame is in such good shape I can't stand the thought of it developing rack rash or any dents.
As much as it pains me I think I might need to retire it again until I have more space for more built bikes and I can treat it better
So I might be swapping the parts over to the Motobecane again. It's not that the Moto is a bad bike - I do really like it, it just doesn't give me the same warm fuzzies that the SLT does.

Somebody’s losing their job. It would take me a week, maybe more, to do 400 pushups.

Got stuck in the snow this morning during my ride. It wasn’t supposed to start until later in the morning, so I figured I would chance riding outside.
We got about half an inch when I was out- doesn’t sound like a lot, but it was enough to make the roads pretty slick, especially on skinny tires. I lost the back end a couple of times but did not crash.
