Late seventies' Giovanni. Built with Reynolds 531 by Belgian frame builder Martens for Piet Slikker's shop in Heerhugowaard:

Gitane TdF from the early seventies. The decals have long gone and the paint has seen better days, but it is such a wonderful ride. For €40, including the shiny Stronglight 55 crankset, the Pivo stem and TA cable guide, it was probably my best buy ever.

I'm very surprised by the lack of Gazelles in this thread. Here's an old, dark photo of mine. Unchanged since, though. Still like the Zeus 2000 crown.

Hmm, no Gianella yet? Gianella was the eponymous house brand of a Montreal LBS that had their mid to high end road frames manufactured by Marinoni. I had a both a road and ATB model circa 1991.

Gazelle Tour de l'Avenir. Built by Gazelle's racing department alongside the Champion Mondial, and with just a Reynolds main triangle available at a slightly lower price. Sorry for the blurry NDS pic, and the cable routing. It was early days for me back in 2010 ...

Two Gazelles. The larger one is a Champion Mondial semi-race, a.k.a. a "G" frame. The smaller one was made by Gazelle for Brands, an Amsterdam racing shop, with a Reynolds 531 main triangle and fork:

My Winter project complete, rebuilt my 1994 GT Edge!
Reinstalled original steel fork (The carbon fiber Look HSC1 didn't quite feel right many years ago). I may end up going back to Down Tube shifters.
Grrrrr! Well, as I lurk here and rarely post, no pics until I post 9 more times!
Anyway, it is the Blue and Yellow "Team Scream" paint scheme only reverse of what I've seen on the MTB's...mine is Yellow on top, Blue on the bottom.

The Frame is stowed away right now in a storage unit, but according to the article i have on it, its 43.2" or 109.7cm the tested size was 21" frame
and yes it looks like its longer than a 1982 Trek 720 according to the catalog the 22.5" frame has a 107.2cm Wheelbase

I finally got the stuck stem out today and once I get my hands on a 40H 700C rim I'll turn it into a 4-speed clubracer. It's not going that well though.
1976 Gazelle Grand Tourist
Plain old steel tubes with drum brakes and a 3-speed SA hub. Turned it into a porteur. Currently a project on hold as I'm figuring out a way to make it brake better. My guess is the original brake shoes need replacing.
1995 Gazelle Lausanne
