There is a bitumen 450 metre track just 2 minutes from where I work, close enough to get some laps in on my lunch break 
. Not a perfect track but the location in totally cool.

old thread lol.
I'm 2.5-3 hours each way, and I went maybe 10-12 times this last summer. Long day but I liked it. Racing may be short but I was up there 2-3 hours each time.

You guys that are 15 minutes away are lucky. I moved for school so I'm 45 mins from Kenosha and an hour 15 from Northbrook.

I live in Kansas City Missouri, The closest track is St Louis Mo and that is four hours (each way) away and that track is in pretty bad condition, the next closest is Chicago 8 hours away (each way) . It sucks having 5 track bikes , and no tracks close by.
