Sanded the ceiling yesterday. Painted all the trim. 2 coats. Today I painted the closet. And the ceiling I sanded yesterday. 2 Coats. Came out nice. I may or may not start the walls tonight. If not tonight then tomorrow.

I even wore the same clothes and the temp was the same though there was a little more wind on Tuesday. Anyway, in my not-so-scientific test, my calorie number was 612 with the PM and HR monitor vs. 962 with just a HR monitor.
It doesn't really mean much but is pretty consistent with what I've perceived in the past and that is that Garmin calorie declarations are worthless without a PM.

Oh, the other thing the software I use does is construct a regression model relating HR (time in zone) to physical work for rides (trainer in my case) where you have both. The R value for the regression is currently about .8 after several months of indoor workouts at various intensities. It uses that model to estimate TSS from HR-only rides and the HR TSS estimates from rides with power are consistently high.

Anyone here good with accounting? I have always done my own taxes because they are stupid simple and all my income is from my company which I get a W-2 from.
However, there is talk of selling my company, for which we each get a big DUMP of $$$....at the start, which I am sure will be taxed....but if we leave the new entity in the first 5 years we have to give back a pro-rata amount of the money they gave us. I can't predict the future, but if I get fed up after a year or two, I would have to return the money including the taxes I paid, which means I may actually LOSE money on the deal. Sad!
I suppose I need to consult an accountant, but I wonder if there is a way I can get some way to distribute the money over time or in a way that if I have to return some of it, I won't get taxed?

That's a really strange arrangement BTW. Normally such things are handled using restricted stock or stock options. Being restricted you can elect to pay taxes when you exercise rather than receive them, exactly to avoid losing money if they turn out to be worthless.

From what I remember, Shimano shifters have quite a long lever throw. This would likely interfere with my handlebar bag and not allow me to shift properly, and would necessitate either a different bag or wider handlebars. Does anyone have an actual measurement of how far inboard their levers go?
Probably looking at Tiagra or 105, unless I find a screaming deal on Ultegra or DA. (although isn't 10 speed Ultegra the one that shreds cables?)

On my Ultegra levers, the full sweep is about 3.5", but the lever is offset... you're probably looking at 2.75"-ish from the center line of the shifter.

It is one heckuva long throw. I checked mine (5800) super-eyebally and a full sweep has the tip going ~2.25" inboard from the inside of the lever head (not center as you drew).
