Ignore the chain hanging from the BB.
I'm waiting for my new cog to arrive.

That may be the most attention to detail anybody has ever put into a conversion. Looks sooooo clean.

Soon as the bike gets shipped from MN to me this week, I'll take it out and find the right setup for me - and then I'll break down the fork and chop it down at the local LBS. I don't have a quality rasp here - the mech there does though.

Already posted in the Leader thread but this is from a slightly different angle I'm kind of scared to complete the trifecta and post it in "what do you not like about my bke."
I love, love, love it though.

Ha, well if that's the only thing you don't like I'm pleasantly surprised. But Ok, you motivated me. I'm gonna go peel that b*tch off. It seems a little off-center too. Don't know what I was thinking, probably "hey, more black-on-back." I was giddy with new bike excitement. Don't judge me! (It's actually way less noticable irl than it is in that pic, for the record.)

Knog-type rear light, aka Hipster cyst. (I rode it home from work last night night and forgot to take it off)

I didn't notice until after I was uploading pictures, and I was too lazy to redo it. If it bothers you, just put your finger over that spot in the pic.

I can't even imagine doing it this way. Even a hacksaw would have been a lot easier. It takes me about a minute to cut a steel steerer tube with a pipe cutter and less time if it's aluminum. Also, there's very little filing afterwards and the cut is dead straight.
